How do I start an online English course?
Try a demo lesson without signing up. To continue, create an account and complete the English level check. Then work through lessons suited to your starting level at your own pace.
Can I start if I am new to English?
Yes. General English lessons start at beginner level A1. After creating an account, you can take the level check to find a starting point that suits you.
Can I try a lesson before signing up?
Yes. Tap “Try a lesson”, choose an available demo, watch the video and take a short quiz. You do not need an account to try the demo.
How do I know which level to start at?
Complete the level check after signing up. Your result helps you find a suitable learning pathway. The demo lesson does not replace the level check.
What happens in a lesson?
First, watch Fred explain the topic in a video. Then take a short quiz to check what you have learned. Your answers guide the next step, and your progress is saved in your account.
What if I do not pass the quiz?
In the demo, you can watch the video again with a transcript and try the quiz a second time. Lessons in your account also include Fred AI support and a reading stage when you need more practice.
